As one of the first restaurants in Shelter Cove built in 1984 known as Harbormaster’s, locals and visitors have dined out on the water enjoying the ever so popular Shelter Cove Marina for years. Shelter Cove Marina opened in 1983 with the Ship’s Store and Harbormaster’s Restaurant following a year later. When Harbormaster’s first opened, it was one of the few fine dining venues on Hilton Head.

Taken over by The Lowrey Group in 2005, converting its name to “Ocean Grille,” the restaurant has taken on a new edge with a more laid back approach.
